Inpatient Acute Care for Children

Our children’s inpatient behavioral health services provide the intensive help necessary for healthy growth and development for children. The program is designed to provide a consistent and nurturing environment that produces positive change to meet the needs of children with emotional and behavioral concerns.

The children’s behavioral therapy program also includes:

  • A program promoting individual recovery goals and progress towards wellness
  • Individual and parent involvement in discharge planning directed toward ongoing recovery

All programs are led by our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, therapists and other clinicians and include the following services:

  • 24-hour supervision by licensed nurses and physicians
  • Initial assessment and evaluation of emotional, intellectual, social and physical needs
  • Strength-based approach during assessment and treatment
  • Individual, group and family therapy service
