About The Meadows
A Peaceful Place to Grow and Get Well
The Meadows Psychiatric Center, a 119-bed private behavioral health care facility on a spacious 52-acre rural campus, is located minutes outside State College in Central Pennsylvania. As an integrated behavioral health care delivery system, The Meadows provides comprehensive mental and behavioral health treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults.
Treatment Philosophy
We believe that moderate to severe behavioral health challenges of children, adolescents and adults result from the interaction of biological, psychological and social factors. Treatment is individualized, person centered and recovery oriented.
A Welcoming Message from our CEO
Hello and Thank You,
The Meadows Psychiatric Center has been providing life-saving, life-changing, life-sustaining support in Central Pennsylvania since 1984. We count on patients who want to return to us for treatment, for physicians who want to refer their patients to us, and for payers who want to connect their members to us. As a community resource, we also provide around-the-clock, no-cost assessments to ensure that those who need services can find the appropriate placement and level of treatment. We are here and ready to answer the call to support and serve, and look forward to meeting you where you are and helping you continue on your recovery journey.
You are not alone. The call for help is ever-increasing and we are here for you. A secret to our and your success: we implement programs where needed, continuously enrich our treatment modalities, and devote to the training, growth and development of our staff, who take care of and support you.
We are humbled by the faith and trust you bestow on a treatment provider, and hold our Service Excellence promise to you (and your loved ones) in the highest regard. You can count on our dedicated and passionate team to assure you are progressing with treatment in which you have input; all the while knowing that your safety, rights, needs and dignity are held in the highest priority of our attention.
I welcome you to contact us for more information.
Sincerely,
Jason Lieb
