Outpatient Care for Children

Universal Community Behavioral Health offers outpatient clinics in Central Pennsylvania to address a variety of needs including crisis intervention, blended case management and school-based mental health evaluation and treatment. Our outpatient clinics provide psychiatric services including medication management and counseling services. These outpatient services aim to assist individuals in improving their current level of functioning so they have the opportunity to be successful in family, educational, occupational and social settings.

Therapists with various clinical specialties are available to work with children to enhance the natural support system while actively involving the child in all aspects of treatment. Psychiatrists are available for evaluation and treatment. At most clinics, intensive outpatient services provide rapid access and stabilization through a program that meets several times per week and includes group, individual and family therapy, psychiatric treatment and nursing services as needed.
